At midnight on January 20 I walked outside to see the moon grayed out by earthshadow, glowing red. What had appeared at dusk as a huge platinum disk was now a floating rock in the middle of the sky, a totally new thing.
In starting this site, I am making a book of surfaces. Amidst the observation there may be some depth of field.
